You know how it is when you start a new project? — at first, it’s all exciting. Then some time goes by, and it gets harder to keep going. This is why many people invest in certificates and degrees.

Since I’m on a very low budget for this career move, for motivation I’ve been using a spreadsheet, tracking my progress. As a bonus, it generates a small dataset.

Having finished my first statistics course, I’m now concentrating on machine learning for the ‘work’ part of my studying. For treats, there is an abundance of books on data visualization, many of them as good as chocolate and wine. Thank you once again to librarians!
